Questions people ask before they order

How much is delivery?: Free on UK orders over £60. Below that, standard delivery is £3.95 and arrives in 2–3 working days. Next-day delivery is £6.95 if you order before 1pm, Monday to Thursday.
When will my order leave?: Orders placed by 1pm on a working day leave the same afternoon. Anything in the next firing ships on the date shown on its page, and we tell you before we take payment.
Do you ship outside the UK?: Yes, to Ireland and the EU from £12.50, in 4–7 working days. Import duty is paid by us, so the price at checkout is the price you pay.

Can I send something back?: Yes, within 30 days of delivery, as long as it is unused. Email us for a free returns label and we refund the full price, including what you paid for delivery.
What if it arrives chipped?: Send a photo within 7 days and we send a replacement the same day. You do not need to return the damaged piece; it makes a good plant pot.
What does the ten-year guarantee cover?: Enamel that crazes, lifts or flakes in normal kitchen use. It does not cover chips from a drop or a knock, which is how glass behaves.

Can it go in the dishwasher?: Everything except the beech handles and knobs, which you unscrew first. Enamel dries in seconds if you wipe it, and a dry piece never rusts at a chip.
Does it work on induction?: The kettle, pouring pot and casserole pots all have flat steel bases and work on induction, gas, electric and range cookers. Mugs are for low flames only.
What if it does chip?: A chip on a mug or bowl is cosmetic: dry it well and carry on. A chip on the base of a kettle or pot is worth sending to us; we will tell you honestly whether it can be re-fired for £12.

Can I pay by invoice or bank transfer?: Yes. Use the Checkout button or the contact form and we send an invoice with bank details. Orders ship when the payment arrives.
Do you sell gift cards?: We post a printed gift card in any amount from £20, valid for two years. Ask through the contact form and we invoice you.
Do you supply cafés and shops?: Yes, from twelve pieces of one design. Trade prices and lead times are on request; choose "Trade and wholesale" on the contact form.
Can I visit the workshop?: The workshop shop is open Thursday to Saturday, 10am–4pm. Seconds go on sale at half price on the first Saturday of every month.
