About the Speckle Mug

The speckle is not printed. After the colour coat dries, one of us flicks white enamel slip across the mug with a stiff brush, and the second firing melts it into the glaze. The pattern on yours is the pattern it came out of the kiln with.

The shape is the Foundry Mug’s slightly wider cousin, with a rim in the same colour as the body instead of a black band. It sits well in a hand that is cold from the garden.

Speckled pieces vary. If yours has a fleck pattern you do not like, send a photo within 30 days and we will swap it.
